Talk to April Grace
Hey, y’all wanna see where I live? You can get a look at the old dirt road I have to ride along when I go to school or church, or even if I go visit Ian and Isabel, or Temple and Forest. It’s full of rocks and ruts, but I love the broken sunshine and shadows of summer along Rough Creek Road. On the page named Views of Rough Creek Road., there are some photos of the hayfield between our house and Grandma’s, and the St. James’s old house before they fixed it up, and Taz, Mr. Brett’s big chow that I thought was a bear, and I’ll add more photos from time to time.
My birthday is April 11, 1975. I wonder if anyone who reads my confessions was also born on April 11. If you were, let me know! Maybe we have lots of other things in common.
And guess what! I’m going share other confessions with you, right here on my very own personal blog. It’s called April Grace’s Secret Confessions, and you can read them for free. If you like them, let me know!
If you want to, you can ask questions or leave comments for me. I promise I’ll get back to you. Your message goes right to my own personal email address. My parents taught me to respect other people’s privacy, so I promise not to give your information away or sell it. In fact, you’ll receive a confirmation email from me after you fill out the form that helps your parents know we are on the ‘up and up’. It helps me, too, because I won’t get the questions if you don’t confirm and I won’t be able to answer. (A little tip — if that email from me doesn’t show up in your email soon, check the junk box because sometimes email gets delivered there.)
I sure hope I hear from y’all soon! Boy, oh boy, this is gonna be fun!!

Hi,
I’m a writer and work-in-progress children’s writer from Bath, Maine. This past winter, I started an adult book club through our church as a community outreach. This summer, we hope to pick one book for 8-12 year olds for another community book read. I saw “In Front of God and Everybody” on Goodreads and would love to read it (and review it on my web site, meadowrue.com, coming later this month!). Is it possible you might still have an ARC available for me to review? If so, please shoot me an email. Thanks!
Meadow Rue Merrill
